And yes... Quite a violent scene, though that scene's probably the most violent by far in Bleach

I think there needs to be more scenes like that, it adds a layer of realism that bleach kinda forgets about sometimes. Not everybody gets away unscathed all the time...

I agree, this little bit of gore added a refreshing layer of realism instead of the gumdrop happiness that is most anime/manga.
