it seemed to me like yammy was saving orihime... just a guess. also I'm beginning to think Ulqiuorra is more than just an espada  perhaps an unchanged vasto lord. he's roughly captain level and he is unlike any other espada in appearance?

Hollows dont have Zanpaktou, Vasto-Lorde or not. Ulqiuorra has one and therfore is definitley an Arrancar, although it would be cool to see what an unchanged Vasto-Lorde looks like...

it seems a bit strange yammy attacking, he was seriously weak last tine and unless something has changed i'd have thought orihime would've been in more danger form the other chicks. also agreed i really want to see a vasto lord. how can the captains every hope to beat one if the top espada are that powerful?

i think yammy randomly appering really took away from the chapter. uli cant be a vasto lorde if he isonly number four or am i getting things confused? althought when we saw the outlines of a hollow then menos and so on we saw a vasto lorde that had two horns on his head...horns very like espada number 4;)

i like it.. perhaps uli is vasto no.4 not espada no.4. would explain why he only takes orders from aizen as far as i can remember. never know the 4th espada could be fighting the caps in the real world. prob jus wishful thinking. really want to see a vasto lord. also agreed with yammy's intervention not really helping the chapter much, i was kinda let down when i realised who it was. for a sec i thought it may have been the first glimpse of a v.l. what's with the dog?

They don't grade the Vastro Lorde though...they only number the Espada. They have that whole special numbering system. There are only the top 3 in the Karakua Town.

And Uli can't be since he has a sword, which has to be the biggest give away

As far as we know, the current top 4 espada (including Ulqiorra) were all Vasto-Lorde's until they were turned into arrancar by the Hougyoku, which made them vastly more powerfull than a non-transformed Vasto-lorde Hollow. Also until we see a Vasto-lordes released form in the manga, we have no idea what kind of special ablilities these arrancar weild, aside from the fact that they will be very destructive. Keep in mind that the top 4 espada were likely the only vasto-lordes Aizen found, because we know that Nnoitra and Grimmjow were both adjuchas class, and any vasto-lordes would obviosly be more powerful than even the strongest adjuchas...

Yea. So basically the fight's just begun because all the weak ones are dead but the ones that are left(minus Yammy) are really strong and they're gonna be a LOT more hard to beat than the other one's combined. They might need all of the shinigami to win against just Uliquiorra, Stark, Halbiel, Barragan, Aizen, Gin and Tousen. And of course to beat ALL of them, they will need the vizards
