This movie was so very beyond my expectations. Everyone fights in some way. EVERYONE! All the captain's bankais are shown(except Yamamoto's...just his shikai and of course the fourth squad captains ) at one point or another and all the characters are shown at one point or another(except any filler characters like Ririn, Cloud, Nova). There were a lot of good battles that satisfied my need even for a movie length portion of Bleach. There was not enough Zaraki I think and I wish that they had at least showed Yachiru some place other than the still frames at the end credits. I also wish that Ururu and Kon were not only in still frame like Yachiru too. Yuzu and Karin should have had bigger parts. BTW YOUNG ICHIGO IS SO CUTE!!! HE EVEN TALKS CUTE  . Zangetsu looks a lot more like Ichigo's dad close up. Hollow Ichigo(the one from inside himself)wasn't there  .

This was a very interesting story and it was well thought out. I am very surprised that the movie had facts about the King's Seal to tell us why Aizen wants it so much(BTW Aizen, Gin and Tousen are also absent). It is one sick toy! They do a good job in showing most of the characters' skills at one point or another.

Just watched and it's amazing. For an anime movie it's probably one of the best I've seen. Really liked how the story unfolded and how we saw some action from a lot people. How long does it take Hinamori to recuperate??? Hasn't it been like a year at least, I'm guessing their talking emotionally and mentally.

wow Urusai did u watch it at 2am this morning? lol I thot I'd beat u, but ur a hardcore bleach fan so... and lol u actually enjoyed a hitsugaya centered movie 

This movie is amazing, like what beasty said. This one actually got me to watch early in the beginning of the movie, unlike movie 1 where I fell asleep 15min watching it.

It's great seeing Ikkaku's bankai there, and now we know that matsu and hitsu knows about it lol.

Hitsu must've been too focused or blind to not see Ichigo's vizard mask. I was expecting him saying "nanda..?!" and Ichigo saying "please keep it a secret" (like Ikkaku) but they just moved on. Or at least Hyourinmaru must've seen it, then told Hitsu about it 

Urusai, I think Aizen is looking for King's Key not the Seal.

I thought Kusaka would have arrancar-like powers because of the mask. Turns out to be a fake mask lol.

Overall this was a long but amazing movie. 1.5 hrs is long, but it's ownage to see the captain's bankais.

Urahara, and the other characters from Karakura should've had more exposure, yea.

I think that they just wanted to have Hollow Ichigo in there because they were trying to show everyone's powers to the full extent...

yeah but that's not my point. I was saying that Hitsu got to have seen the vizard mask, he was close enough from him to see. He must've been blind, or maybe Hyourinmaru's wings blocked his view lol. It would've been interesting if he learned about it and keeps it a secret throughout the future manga chaps, which we are reading right now.

Well if u were right about it being the king's key, not seal, then i think that there should be no reference to this movie in the anime or the manga. unless its a filler episode or something, then Kusaka might come back for some butt whooping.

I think the only reason he didn't notice is because the writers didnt want him to notice but they wanted hollow ichigo and bankai hitsu to be the ones up at the top with kusaka

Sad day I thought you said we would see more captain bankais    which sadly there are no new ones 

Otherwise it was pretty kick ass! alot better fight scenes in this one then in Memories of Nobody.  It did feel like they cut the (Boss) fight kinda short it was more about unleashing huge attacks on the unkillable grunts rather than the big guy himself but it still looked awesome anyways thought BOO YEah!

Saw the movie yesterday, I just noticed it up on some site and thought it had been out subbed for a while and i hadn't noticed, but by chance I got to see it pretty quick after release. It was a good movie. I thought that it was better than memories of nobody, (probably just because I like Hitsugaya).

Seeing Ikkaku's bankai was definitely a high point for me, because he's another one of my favorites. Overall though, I don't think that the bleach movies are particularly amazing. I love the anime, and the movies are cool and entertaining, but not among my list of top anime movies.

By the way, I also found the movie in Hi-res Divx (not on Divx player) so ill post the link for anyone who's interested:

(One addition in response to HitsyMatsu: I don't think they would do new bankais in the movies or in filler arcs, so as not to go on a tangent from the manga. I could be wrong though, and if anyone knows the parameters of what the anime creators can or have designed that's significant and original from the manga I would be curious.)

Hmm it seems like maybe there's a hint that Kusaka might come back, as seen in the end of the movie.

I'm wondering the length of time there was between Ikkaku's bankai shown in anime and shown in movie. Or which one went first.

I guess the director learned from Memories the bad stuff about it, w/e it was, and completely focused on a movie based on well known Bleach characters instead, which really went well based on the public reaction.

Heh, I was the FIRST one to get the highest quality! 40min after DB placed it in torrent. I'm actually the one that told Urusai about it, or he wouldn't know about its existence til 70 years after

wait. but that would mess up the whole storyline of the anime. I'm thinking in Bleach movie 5 he's gonna come back...with the person using 'The other Benihime"

From your own admission Yachiru was only shown in stills in the end credits, and Momo wasn't shown at all...so not everyone fought. I agree that more Zaraki (probably  ) would have been good.

Some parts seemed a little slow, and while the captain of squad ten is excellent in the normal story arc I still got the impression during the movie that his character wasn't developed enough to be a primary carrier of the storyline.
I also felt that the King Seal being used to explain the bad guy's original reserection didn't fit well into the story, and in the end the Seal didn't do him any good.

I just watched Memories of Nobody after having watched the 2nd movie, and I thought Memories of Nobody had a better storyline and better comedy moments. That being said I'm glad that both movies were made (its far better than no movies at all).

yeah this film kicked ass at lest twice as much as MoN but i thought towards the end of the movie (possibly from zangetsu onwards) that the focus shifted to much onto ichigo i know he is the main person and all but it was toshiros movie and didnt seem to flow very well. great fight scenes towards the bit where they kill him i was half excpetcing toshi to use the kings seal to find out what the other dude (cant remember his name) was going to say at the end of his sentence
