Hey guys, just bought Battlefield2 on www.half.com was wondering if any of you have the game? I tried it out single-player over at my friends house, looks pretty good. Greatest part about it is the ranking system imho, so if any of you like/play CoD, I'd recommend this game! Btw, if you have BF2, pls post here w/ your name so we can game together ^_^

played battlefield, is a gd game but im more into medal of honour and call of duty + socom Comfrontation yay

I know what you mean Deev. I played BF1942 and BF Vietnam, then swapped over to MOH MOHAA MOHSH then off to CoD and CoD: UO, but I was told BF2 is like playing CoD just with modern weapons (which most of the servers now are modern weapons servers, just with old World War maps) on modern streets, the biggest and best difference though is that you get ranked and get to keep your rank.

Apparently you have to create an account w/ the game (something like a GameSpy account, just not with GameSpy) and when you go online, you sign in and it holds all of your rankings, gets you badges and medals etc etc. Should give Battlefield 2 a try Deev if you like CoD ^_^

Never got to play socom online since it wasnt for the PC. I dont really get along well with 1st person shooter games on anything but PC (have Halo 1 and 2, but dont really care for them much....accuracy is MUCH better/easier on a PC using a mouse )

Yep, got the game now, my player name is xX~Sanosuke~Xx ^_^ Almost a Sergeant, 38% through Corporal. I play with my CoD:UO clan, =BAD= usually during the nights around 6pm CST

just finished up a 3 hour scrimmage, watching a bit NGE (1 or 2 episodes) then I'll probably get back on. I dont know if there's any way to check if friends are playing a certain server (ie. like using xfire to join with friends) but ya got my name ^_^
