In private servers the max lvl is 255 but the experience rate is better.

Yes Aizen, I know what you speak of. I have a friend who playes on an Emulated (aka "private") server. Those are also against the EULA for those of us with legitimate accounts. He said that the exp rate is like 5x normal and so is the money drop rate. Not too worried about it though, I've already expierenced 96% of the end game content with my raiding guild.

WoW is an O.K. game, and I've played nearly all of the MMORPG's out there for PC. I'm waiting for Warhammer Online to come out though, for as soon as it does, I'm dropping WoW.

I can't afford to play that considering how addicting it is.  I've heard of people not leaving their rooms for three days because they can't stop playing.  That would destroy my academics!

WoW, as with all things in life DOES need to be taken in moderation. I suppose it really depends on what type of person you are if you will or will not be addicted to WoW (or any other game for that matter) I know when I first started I was pretty addicted, but now for the last 4 or 5 months I've done everything I pretty much wanted to, and even though theres still alot to do end-game wise, I just dont have the drive for it anymore.

This goes with everything. Games aren't the only addiction in life ^_^ I just hope that one day everyone learns to understand their limits and know when they're taking it too far, that would be the day that the world takes a step closer to nirvana ^_^

It is very hard to understand your own limits if you cant notice you own addiction to games and especially WoW. Ive seen people who gets a addicted the ones that stay on the room for so many hours and telling their own parents to don't get in their way.  Grin Though i am the one who cracked that to stop that addiction. Don't tell hehe it was my cousins own. He cryed even though he is 14 yrs old.

I played WoW for a short time, but once I reached level 36 or 37... I found it to get too repetitive for my tastes. I also used to play CoH, but then I bought a new laptop and Vista doesn't support the game.

...Yet I still sometimes find myself playing MapleStory... damn that game.

Right now, though, the only things I really play is TF2, CS;S, Portal, or Bleach: Shattered Blade.

This game honestly sucks, you have to pay for it, if you want a game like this one and free, play hero online  Grin

i tested wow with a test-account and i have to say that i don't like it.
i don't like the graphic and i don't like the gameplay. i like guildwars much better (my opinion).
